About 7 months ago I contracted Presto Painting Services to paint the entire interior (walls, ceilings, trim-work (baseboards, crown molding, doors/door trim, stairs) and 2-car garage of my 2-story townhome.... Read More That experience was outstanding; the project was completed within 4 days, with good communication, prompt responses, on-time, excellent crew; overall 5-Stars. Unfortunately, within a couple of months all of the trim, which was painted with a bright white oil-based enamel (Behr) from Home Depot, began to yellow, and by 6 months the trim color was nearly indistinguishable from my beige-colored walls. I contacted Ron with my issues/concerns, and someone was out the next week to inspect things. Within a month the issue was addressed. Presto Painting repainted ALL trim-work (using a superior Sherwin Williams product) throughout my entire home free-of-charge, no fuss, no muss. As you might expect/predict, Home Depot wanted nothing to do with standing behind/warranting their product (apparently, Behr's thought was that white oil-based paint yellows, which is true, but such yellowing should take 10+ years, not 2 months). Presto Painting's prompt response clearly demonstrates their high standards, as they stood behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee without batting an eye. The repainting was also a 5-Star project. Bottom line: Presto Painting - highly recommended; Behr paint - let the buyer beware.
